(Reliability: 4), 24 Feb 2011. A man named Richard Diver has been missing from Oamaru since the 1st inst., and it is said that he left the district to walk south. It is thought that he may have reached Dunedin, but police inquiries have discovered no trace of his whereabouts in the city. The missing man's friends in Oamaru are very anxious about him, and the police request that any information concerning him may be forwarded or communicated to them. He. is a native of Ireland, 6ft in height, 50 years of age, stout build, with dark hair and complexion, dark head and a moustache turning grey, and when he left Oamaru was dressed in dark clothes, and wore a dark soft felt hat.
